Registering a token piece

A unique Solana mint identifies a piece. A developer can reserve a verified Pump.fun mint directly. An existing first-depositor claim takes priority. The 100 developer selections have their own move cards and illustrations. Browse the mint list and sources

From wallet to board

  1. Choose Pieces → Register a piece → Scan wallet. Pick your token, or paste its exact mint. When indexed, the scan includes the coin name, symbol and image. Always compare the full mint.
  2. Check mint & minimum verifies the mint and its finalized Pump bonding curve. If you have no available Chess balance for it, review a deposit of exactly one base unit. At six decimals that is 0.000001 token. Your wallet displays the network fee separately.
  3. After finalization, continue registration. Choose the name, rank, movement, readable rule and color. Keep the coin image, upload PNG/JPEG/WebP artwork, or use the starter token silhouette. Copy chess artwork prompt gives you text to use with the original mascot in your preferred image generator.
  4. The final Lock and register action permanently locks one base unit in Chess. It cannot be withdrawn. If you previously deposited a larger amount, only one base unit is locked. The remaining available balance can be withdrawn through Wallet. Registration and the RNNR game fee are separate.

The first finalized deposit credited to Chess establishes the player claim for an unreserved eligible mint. An unfinished deposit or an unrelated address with the same ticker cannot register it. Use movement templates for enforced rules. Custom movement uses the players' agreement and the challenge system.

New registrations enter developer review. After approval the piece appears in the catalogue and becomes eligible for new boards. For an existing token, open its card and select Suggest art or movement. Upload a new image, describe a move, or copy one of the prompts to work on it in your own image generator. The developer can approve a picture, assign a supported movement, or decline the suggestion. Previously agreed games retain their movement cards. Include the exact mint when reporting a piece. Meet Unc and Nic

Unc starts near the middle. He retreats one or two squares along a clear path and captures exactly one square straight ahead. His portrait uses the original Paul mascot.

Nic is a designer piece dealt to just one side in about one of every 50 eligible mystery openings. Its queen can jump pieces along a straight or diagonal line. Gaps in the board stop it. On successive captures it returns as a rook, a knight and then a pawn. Capturing that pawn removes Nic for good. Neither house piece requires a token purchase.

Developer review

Sign in with the designated developer wallet and open Pieces → Review suggestions. The number beside it is the pending count. Open a submission to check the exact mint, read the proposed move and preview its artwork. Approving a supported movement or image makes it available to new games immediately. A completely new kind of move needs a game update so both players see the correct legal squares.
